Darling you’re tired You’ve been running for miles But the end is in sight There’s a line that you’ve nearly crossed Again, Just like every time, again And though the game never ends I just hope you remember love that I’m right here You can snuggle up tight my dear You are never alone in your fear I’m right here Just a year ago today You were sitting alone in your room Wondering if You would ever find home But look at us now There are things that turn sometimes Just how’d you like But whenever it’s not that simple I’m right here You can snuggle up tight my dear You are never alone, I’ll always be near I’m right here Each time They move the line You need a hand to hold I’m right here Darling I’m here

Love is the glue of all existence Reversing entropy and pain But does that mean love has no endings? Does it mean hearts shouldn’t break? It’s strange, the circumstance we’re caught in Where one and one cannot make two Where conversation causes tension And honest doesn’t equal true And I – know that words will never do Cause I – know you fear the same things that I do We tried, but maybe love is not enough to hold us through But let’s try, just a little longer, lover, Would you hold me like you do I’ve never been one for tears at endings But sometimes tears are all we’ve got And maybe tears will bring us comfort Once they’ve showed us where we are So as our love is torn to pieces Across pacific border lines May this heartbreak pour redemption On aching hearts in the divide And I – I know that words will never do And I – know you feel the same things that I do We tried, oh but love was not enough to hold us through But let’s try, just a little longer, lover, Would you hold me like you do So though I’d love to keep you Some things can’t reconcile Goodnight, but just a little longer, lover, Would you hold me like you do

about

Sometimes to love another person feels cozy and warm, facing the struggles of life together, hand-in-hand. Most of the time it’s difficult and messy, we hurt one another and learn and relearn lessons. And sometimes the best way to love another person is to say goodbye to them.

This collection of songs was birthed out of several different moments of love in my life. I hope it helps you navigate and enter more deeply into the moment you’re in, that it helps you love the people in your life right now.
